Job summary

Duininck Concrete is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to operate a portable plant out of Abercrombie, ND. The role delivers concrete to construction sites, adheres to DOT regulations, and travels to job sites as needed.

CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required, with company training provided. This seasonal, full-time position offers competitive pay of $35/hour, PTO, comprehensive health, dental & vision plans, and a 401K with company match.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.
• Follow DOT requirements and traffic laws.
• Communicate delivery updates to dispatch and interact professionally with customers on-site.
• Ensure proper handling and pouring of concrete to prevent spills or damage.
• Maintain clean interior and exterior of the truck and assist with plant duties during down time.

This position will be based out of our portable plant in Abercrombie, ND

This position with Duininck Concrete offers the opportunity to join our portable crew as a trusted ready-mix driver responsible for delivering concrete to construction sites. Must be open to working at various job sites for extended periods (overnight travel required). We provide paid training on how to handle and deliver concrete safely and efficiently to customers. CDL Class A or B required. Must also have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

The Role

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.
• Follow DOT requirements.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Follow instructions regarding the type and quantity of concrete to be delivered.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any delivery updates or issues.
• Provide customer service by interacting professionally at construction sites.
• Ensure the proper handling and pouring of concrete to prevent spills or damage.
• Maintain clean interior and exterior truck.
• Assist with additional maintenance/cleaning duties in and around the plant location during down time
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders and stairs.
• Work in various weather conditions.
• Travel for potentially extended periods.
