Knife River Corporation is seeking a Ready Mix Driver in the United States. Our drivers are home every night and enjoy competitive wages plus a full benefits package.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class B, the ability to pass background checks, and the flexibility to work weekends and overtime. You will safely deliver concrete, inspect vehicles, and maintain paperwork while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to comply with FMCSA regulations, understand traffic signs, communicate with law enforcement, and complete required records.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights and overtime.
• Professional and courteous attitude toward all team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial, construction and residential projects.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on truck equipment.
• Document each delivery and complete all paperwork as required.
• Develop product knowledge and understand the importance of quality & service.
• Wash residual concrete from the truck and maintain a clean appearance by following Knife River’s policies and standards.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent unsafe actions or processes.
• Other duties as needed; Timely and regular attendance is essential.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)

• Previous truck driving experience (concrete experience preferred but not required).
• Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license, clean MVR record and DOT/CDL records.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to comply with FMCSA regulations, understand traffic signs, communicate with law enforcement, and complete required records.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)

• Safely drive and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial, construction and residential projects.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on truck equipment.

• Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
• Timely and regular attendance is essential.
