CalPortland is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to transport freshly mixed concrete from the batch plant to job sites, performing routine vehicle adjustments and ensuring safe operation. The role emphasizes customer service, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Applicants must hold a current Commercial Class A or B license with airbrakes and tank endorsement, maintain a valid DOT medical certificate, and exhibit a clean driving record.
The Ready-Mix Driver will be responsible for all duties of the position, including the transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the batch plant to the job site in a safe manner. This individual will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled. We are seeking a candidate with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and great customer service skills.

$25 hourly - Probationary pay; $35-$40 hourly - Post probationary period pay
High School Diploma/GED
Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration/clearance as well as ongoing alcohol and drug testing. In accordance with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, for work that will be performed in the San Francisco area, qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for employment.
