Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Ready-Mix Truck Driver in Houston, TX. You will safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete products to customers and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Maintain communication with dispatch, assist with loading and unloading, and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to operate heavy equipment in varying weather conditions.

What You'll Be Doing

Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete products to customers. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Ensure accurate delivery tickets and maintain communication with dispatch. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
