Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Ready-Mix Dispatcher to coordinate deliveries, optimize fleet use, and uphold service standards for customer sites. You will communicate with drivers, plant staff and customers, monitor schedules, adjust routes, and handle overtime or weekend shifts in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience in dispatching or logistics, and proficiency with database software (Command Alkon) and office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior related experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, customer service, or related.
• Experience in ready-mix concrete, construction materials, trucking, or construction industries is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule ready-mix deliveries to customer job sites.
• Maintain fleet utilization and customer service standards.
• Communicate with drivers, plant personnel, sales, and operations management.
• Assist drivers in finding jobsites and determine travel time to jobsites.
• Work overtime and varying shifts including early mornings, late afternoons, and Saturdays.
• Adjust driver requirements to meet company goals.
