Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Concrete Mixer Truck Operator in Jamestown, NY to accurately deliver concrete to construction sites and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections while maintaining delivery logs.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL, demonstrates strong safety awareness, communicates effectively with dispatch and site personnel, and can work in varying weather and demanding conditions as part of a collaborative team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate mixer truck to deliver concrete to construction sites.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of concrete.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel.

What Are We Looking For

• Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Capability to handle physical demands of the job.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
