Ampact is seeking a passionate Reading Tutor to support student literacy at local schools in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This role requires helping students improve their reading skills, tracking progress, and collaborating with on-site coaches. Ideal candidates should be dependable, have good attendance, and be proficient in English.

This is a full-time position (35 hours/week) for the 2026-27 school year, with part-time options available. Compensation includes a stipend. Join us in making a difference!

Qualifications

• History of good attendance.
• Age 18 or older.
• Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions and ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet with the on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores.
