Job summary

Ampact, located in Richfield, Minnesota, is seeking Reading Tutors for the 2026-27 school year to help students improve their reading skills. Tutors will provide direct assistance to students, conduct assessments, and work closely with school coaches to track progress.

Qualified candidates will be dependable, have good attendance, and possess basic computer skills. Positions are available full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time (25 hours per week) with daytime hours Monday to Friday. Join us in making a difference!

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Proficient in basic computer skills like email and navigating online.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
