Job summary

Wooster Middle School is seeking a dedicated Reading Tutor to join our team on a part-time basis. You will work one-on-one and in small groups to improve students' reading comprehension, fluency, and love of literature, using personalized strategies and progress monitoring.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, CT certification preferred, and prior experience with middle school students or tutoring. Strong communication and empathy are essential to motivate learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CT certification preferred.
• Previous experience with middle school students or tutoring/teaching role is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of reading instruction techniques and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
