Job summary

Harmony Science Academy – Midland, a Harmony Public Schools campus serving PK-8, seeks a qualified teacher to support emergent bilingual students in small groups. The role focuses on ELAR instruction, language development, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Understands and supports the mission, vision and values of Harmony Public Schools.
  • Creates a small-group environment conducive to learning with research-based best practices.
  • Plans small group lessons meeting student needs and abilities.
  • Provides targeted second language instruction and progress reports to Emergent bilingual students.
  • Analyzes data to plan instruction and adjust lessons.
  • Maintains accurate records as required by law and district policy.
  • Communicates with students, parents, and community members.
