Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Reading/Language Arts teacher to support the Title I program through lab observations and coaching. The role focuses on providing exemplary classroom instruction, data-driven decision making, and district-aligned professional development across grade levels.

The position emphasizes collaboration with campus leaders to accelerate student achievement and ensure high-quality instructional materials are implemented district-wide.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current, evidence-based Reading/Language Arts teaching methods and pedagogy.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners.
• Data-driven instruction and collaboration with PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Teaches no more than one STAAR standard period as teacher of record for lab observations.
• Maintains a class roster meeting TIA requirements.
• Coaches campus teachers with real-time guidance to improve student outcomes.
• Delivers on-campus professional learning and supports district instructional materials.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Masters degree preferred
