Job summary

Crossover in Texas is seeking a Reading Interventionist to deliver targeted literacy sessions to K-3 students using AI-driven software and decodable passages. You will identify phoneme-grapheme deficits and design concise instructional sequences to bridge gaps, then verify skill transfer before returning learners to independent work.

Responsibilities include facilitating small-group sessions, supporting app-based core instruction, and sustaining engagement through routines and feedback.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on-site at one of the identified campuses with relocation assistance.
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with children ages 4-9 in settings like classrooms, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or similar environments.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching reading to students in grades K-3 within the past 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; state teaching certification not required.
• Approximately 90% of time spent supporting students through software-based learning, with 10% on reading intervention.
• Willing to support all K-3 students, not only struggling readers.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted structured-literacy sessions to small groups of two to four students, identifying deficits and designing instructional sequences.
• Support students during app-based core instruction and address stalls to restore momentum.
• Facilitate morning routines, life-skills programming, and reflection activities for early elementary students.
• Motivate students toward weekly software milestones using incentives and gamification strategies.
• Remain with students from opening to dismissal, addressing resistance with individualized plans.
