The Lansing School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support Early Elementary literacy and math instruction. In this role you will help ensure student safety, assist teachers during lessons, and engage with families to support learning in a diverse urban school community.
You will build positive relationships with students on your caseload, prioritize tasks with school leaders, and participate in professional development to strengthen instruction and classroom routines.

In pursuit of this mission, we are hiring an Instructional Assistant. This individual will help ensure the safety and success of all students in the building. Instructional Assistants build relationships with students they work with, support teachers in ensuring that students are engaged and supported during lessons, and interact with parents and families. They are a crucial component of a student's support structure at school. In particular, Instructional Assistants will focus on supporting literacy and math instruction.
