Job summary

LDA Minnesota seeks a qualified educator to provide reading interventions to students in grades 5-8 at a non-public school in Minneapolis. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of structured literacy and experience delivering Title 1 supplemental services.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a Tier 3 or 4 MN Educator license in related area.
• Ability to track student progress using data.
• Collaboration with site coordinator and staff.

• Experience working with urban students desired.
• Understanding of Title 1 teacher role.
• Effective technology integration.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 or small group reading interventions.
• Adapt lesson plans for students significantly behind peers.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Communicate with school staff bi-weekly to update progress.
