Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks a Certified Reading Specialist for our Devereux PA Children’s Services program in Landenberg, PA. The role focuses on delivering reading interventions to students with challenging behaviors within a classroom setting, operating in a private school for emotional and behavioral health populations.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a salary range of $63,000–$71,820 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education and/or Special Education is required.
• Pennsylvania Reading Specialist Certification is required.
• Wilson Reading System Level I Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide reading intervention services to students individually and in groups.
• Maintain progress monitoring and data to support student growth.
• Conduct screenings and provide diagnostic results of reading levels and needs.
• Attend IEP meetings and report on student progress.
• Provide consultation to teachers on reading instruction including modeling and coaching.
• Collaborate with school leadership and IEP teams to provide continuum of reading instruction.
