Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree.
• Three (3) years of successful teaching experience.
• Holds or is eligible for a Virginia Postgraduate Professional License.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' strengths and needs and share results with parents and staff to support reading interventions.
• Coordinate assessments, analyze data, and monitor student progress.
• Provide interventions to assist struggling students and align with the curriculum.
• Support and extend classroom teaching, collaborating with teachers and administrators to coordinate the program.
• Lead professional development and model effective strategies for teachers.
• MaintainKnowledge of Virginia Standards of Learning in the specified subject area.
• Attend monthly collaboration meetings to provide aligned services and resources.
