The Stephen Longfellow Academy is seeking to appoint an ambitious and passionate Reading Intervention Lead to drive our whole-academy reading strategy and inspire a culture of reading for pleasure. Qualifications

• Proven experience leading reading or literacy interventions.
• Deep understanding of reading development and effective strategies.
• Ability to analyse data to drive pupil outcomes.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for promoting reading and supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Lead targeted reading interventions and drive whole-academy reading strategy.
• Develop and manage a dedicated reading team and monitor impact.
