Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant in Mathematics. The role involves grading homework for lower-division math courses, recording scores, and assisting the instructor with related duties. Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in at least six Fall/Spring units (or graduate students in a program with at least four Fall/Spring units).

The position starts on/after August 31, 2026 and ends by May 21, 2027. Salary is $16.90 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Undergrad students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
  • Preferred: dependable, responsible, neat and timely; grade of B or better in the lower division course to be graded; competency in Mathematics above the course level.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Qualifications
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Demonstrates to be dependable, responsible, neat and able to perform duties in a timely manner.
    • Demonstrates grade of "B" or better in the lower division course to be graded or in comparable mathematics courses.
    • Demonstrates competency in Mathematics above the level of the course to be graded.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
