Willing Care Recruitment Limited is recruiting on behalf of a specialist dementia care home set within a beautiful character property, surrounded by landscaped gardens. The home has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate all stages of dementia, creating a truly unique and considered environment where residents can feel safe, comfortable and cared for.

They are now looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
• Post-registration experience is essential
• Experience working with older adults, particularly those living with dementia
• Previous experience within a care home setting
• A compassionate, patient and person-centred approach to care
• Strong clinical skills with excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents living with dementia at all stages of the condition
• Carry out and oversee comprehensive assessments of residents' physical and emotional health needs
• Develop, implement and regularly review individualised care plans in line with residents' needs and preferences
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with NMC standards and home policies
• Monitor residents' conditions closely and respond promptly to any changes in health or wellbeing
• Liaise effectively with GPs, healthcare professionals and families to ensure a holistic and joined-up approach to care
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation at all times
• Support and guide care staff on shift, promoting a culture of dignity, respect and compassionate care
