Job summary

Host & Stay is seeking a Housekeeper/Cleaner in Alnwick to maintain and clean a portfolio of properties, ensuring high guest satisfaction. A driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential as teams travel between properties, with travel time paid.

The role offers flexible, zero-hour contracts with changeover days on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, plus weekday opportunities. Training is provided, and accommodation is not mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean properties between guests: hoovering, dusting, polishing, tidying.
• Change linen between guests.
• Maintain presentation of houses for guests and owners.
• Stock control of household basics/essentials.
• Report maintenance issues or replacements.
• Oversee and manage fine details unique to each property.

Here at Host and Stay we are always looking for dedicated and friendly people to clean and look after our portfolio of properties, helping our owners to maintain their high quality properties, and to ensure our guests receive the very best customer service whilst staying with us.

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. To work with us we need you must be available on our main changeover days, which are Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, with weekdays available too.

We are currently offering zero hour contracts, which offers great flexibilty.

It is essential that you drive and have access to your own vehicle as we travel between properties in our daily work - travel time is paid for this. Areas covered are Alnwick, Amble, Rothbury, Wooler, Alnmouth, Warkworth, Seahouses, Bamburgh, High Newton, Belford, Waren Mill.

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly cleaning the properties between guests. This includes but is not exclusive to hoovering, dusting, polishing, tidying

The changing of linen between guests

Ensuring and maintaining the presentation of houses for guests and owners.

Stock control of household basics/essentials.

Reporting any necessary maintenance issues or replacements.

As well as the main duties, the role will also include overlooking and managing the finer details unique to each property.

Requirements:
