Sasse Limited is recruiting a Full-time General Service Operative (Shunter/Cleaner/Fueller) at Southport Bus Depot. You will manage vehicles returning to the depot, move buses within the site, and maintain cleanliness across buses and facilities while performing fuelling tasks.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence (B category) held for at least two years and a willingness to work unsocial hours on the late shift. Training will be provided, and a supportive team environment is offered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual checks for damage and ensure windows are closed before wash.

Contracted:35 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days per rota, 17h30- 01h00

We are currently recruiting for a Full-time GSO Shunter/Cleaner/Fueller at Southport Bus Depot for Arriva, and we are looking to hear from candidates who are positive, have a can-do attitude and have ambition to grow.

The Role

As a General Service Operative (Shunter/Cleaner/Fueller), you will play an essential role in ensuring our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• - Process the vehicles on their return to the depot.
• - Moving and manoeuvre vehicles/ buses within the depot, following instructions from the allocator and parking according to the parking plan.
• - Maintaining overall cleanliness, including bus and facility cleaning, waste removal.
• - Performing fuelling tasks.
• - Conducting visual checks for any damage, reporting issues, and ensuring all windows are closed before buses enter the wash.
• - Follow strict Health & Safety procedures and instructions.
• - The role will also have additional site duties in line with General Service Operative (GSO)
• - Delivering timely, efficient, and courteous service on customer sites.
• - Willingness and ability to work unsocial hours in line with the late shift.
• - Full UK car (B category) driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years
