Smart Solutions (Recruitment) Limited is seeking an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative for a busy Tipton warehouse. The role blends forklift duties with general warehousing tasks in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

You will load/unload and move goods, perform quality checks, and help maintain accurate stock records while supporting a cooperative warehouse team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a busy warehouse.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual handling tasks when required.
• Vigilant about safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load, unload and move goods around the warehouse.
• Load products onto vehicles following company procedures and safety standards.
• Carry out general warehouse duties including handling, sorting and moving stock.
• Complete demolition of non-returnable products per procedures.
• Assist with receiving, storing and organising materials.
• Complete quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
• Record stock movements accurately in warehouse systems.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised working areas.
• Report health and safety concerns or equipment issues.
• Support the wider warehouse team with additional duties as required.

We are currently recruiting for a hardworking and reliable FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team based in Tipton (DY4).

This is a hands-on role combining forklift truck operation with a range of manual warehouse duties. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• . Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load, unload and move goods around the warehouse.

• . Carry out general warehouse duties including handling, sorting and moving stock.

• . Use warehouse systems accurately to record stock movements and maintain inventory records.
• . Maintain excellent housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• . Report any health and safety concerns, damaged equipment or operational issues.
• . Support the wider warehouse team with additional duties as required.
• . £13.49 per hour.
