Job summary

United In Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team. You will diagnose faults and perform electrical and mechanical repairs on industrial machinery, including automated cells, injection moulding machines, hydraulic presses and extrusion lines.

The role also covers electrical installation work across the site, such as armoured cabling, lighting and power installations.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing faults and performing electrical/mechanical repairs on industrial machinery.
• Experience with automated cells and plant equipment is a plus.
• Ability to plan and execute preventive maintenance programs.

Job description

As our Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will report directly to the Facilities Manager. This is a proactive, hands-on role responsible for diagnosing faults and carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on machinery, including automated assembly cells, injection moulding machines, hydraulic presses and extrusion lines.

The role will also involve electrical installation work across the site, including armoured cabling for new machinery and equipment, lighting and power installations. You will also complete planned preventive maintenance activities for factory services and equipment and support the installation of new plant and other equipment.
