Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is seeking a reliable staff member to supervise around 15 cleaners across Chester, Ellesmere Port and Deeside. You will visit sites for regular audits, discuss cleaning standards with staff, ensure coverage during sickness/holidays, manage stock on site, and train new staff on roles and COSHH/H&S requirements.
The role offers a minimum of 16 hours and may require extra hours or client visits for quotations and leafleting.
We are looking for a reliable member of staff who is flexible during all hours. The job involves cleaning sites, supervising around 15 members of staff over many sites across Chester, Ellesmere Port and Deeside locations. You will visit sites to do cleaning audits on a regular basis ensuring the standards of clean are of high quality. You must be confident enough to be able to discuss failings in cleaning standards with members of staff so that it can be rectified. You will be responsible for ensuring all cleans are covered whether it be by yourself or another member of staff during sick days and holidays. You will ensure that there is enough stock on site and if needed drop off to the site. You will be responsible for training new members of staff who come on board ensuring they understand their roles and understand H&S & COSHH REGS on site.
You may be required to visit potential clients to do quotations, leaflet dropping and maybe some sales calls.
The ability for a quick start is highly desirable.
The ability to be flexible and open to more hours if offered is also desirable.
Reliability and the ability to commit to the role is vital.
This role is for a minimum of 16hrs.
