Break Charity in Holt, Norfolk seeks a skilled Retail Manager to lead our charity shop team and drive sales.
You will supervise volunteers, ensure excellent customer service, manage stock sourcing and merchandising, and contribute to the charity’s mission to support children and families.
The role requires strong leadership, cash handling, and the ability to thrive in a busy shop environment; experience in charity retail is an advantage.
Break has over 50 charity shops in East Anglia and the West Country, operating since 1968. The income from the charity shops is vital to the development and continuation of the services we provide for children, young people and families. We pride ourselves on selling good quality donated goods at affordable prices. We operate a recycling system, so every donation is put to good use, generating more income.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced retailer with great people skills, who is confident working in a fast-paced environment. You will be organised, driven and proactive with a hands-on approach to a varied and busy workload to manage our established shop in Holt, Norfolk.
A background in charity retailing would be an advantage for this position.

Key Responsibilities
As Retail Manager, you’ll be responsible for hitting the sales targets set so you’ll also need to have the passion and leadership skills to motivate a team of staff and volunteers. Great customer service is essential to maximise income as is sourcing and merchandising stock. You will have the ability to manage a team of volunteers/staff, handle cash and have an understanding of a retail environment.
