• Lead the production line team to build capability, engagement and delivery of orders.
• Manage delivery and improvement of key operational efficiency measures such as waste reduction and right-first-time quality.
• Oversee stock, equipment and labour to complete tasks and close runs accurately.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene in the area of responsibility.
• Train new and inexperienced team members per the training plan and SOPs.
• Keep management information and control documentation compliant with traceability and legislation.
• Ensure operations are conducted safely and health risks are minimized.
• Regularly review risk assessments for the area.
• Report accidents, incidents and near misses to the Area Controller for investigation.
• Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to employees.
• Comply with all company policies including Health & Safety, Environmental, and Hygiene policies.

Job description

We are recruiting a Permanent position for a Production team Leader based in Holbeach.

Duties - responsible for management and performance of a designated production line, ensuring all aspects of production is in accordance with compliance:

• Lead the production line team to build capability, engagement, results and delivery of orders.
• Manage the delivery and enhancement of key operational effectiveness measures including product waste reduction, right first-time quality processing, labour utilization, productivity and overall efficiency.
• Manage all line resources of stock, equipment and labour to ensure all tasks online are completed effectively and keep KBS up to date with your labour and all Raw material added to the run and to close a run when it is completed.
• Ensure that a high level of housekeeping and hygiene is maintained in your area of responsibility.
• Train new and inexperienced team members in accordance with training plan and SOPs.
• Ensure all management information and control documentation is maintained, accurate and in accordance with traceability, official standard/requirements and legislation, guarding against rejections and non-compliance.
• Ensuring that the operations under their control are, as far as is reasonably practicable, conducted without detriment to the health and safety of employees or others who may be affected by their activities;
• Ensuring that for their area risk assessments are regularly reviewed.
• Ensuring that all accidents, incidents and near misses reported to them are Reported to the Area Controller to be documented and investigated correctly.
• Provide suitable levels of information, instruction, training and supervision to employees in their area.
• Comply with all relevant Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policy, Environmental Policy, Technical Policy, Equal Opportunities, Diversity & Dignity at Work Policy and Hygiene Policy.
