Job summary

Partiful in New York is seeking an App Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale the systems powering our mobile development. You’ll build the expo-based development environment and expand our React Native footprint across iOS and Android.

You’ll work at the intersection of developer experience and product quality, ensuring performance, reliability, and fast release cycles while collaborating with Expo and partner teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience with Expo and managing mobile build/deployment infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of New Architecture and React Compiler.
• Track record of improving developer velocity using CI/CD automation and observability tools.
• Ownership mindset and collaborative approach to delivering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve Expo infrastructure for scalable apps.
• Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks using New Architecture and tooling.
• Develop iOS-specific features like App Clips, Live Activities, and Widgets.
• Collaborate with Expo & Software Mansion for testing and feedback on releases.
• Create tooling to improve developer velocity across the mobile team.
• Establish monitoring and observability to track performance and release health.
• Own weekly app release process from build to store deployment.
• Join a fast-moving team that loves what we build and enjoys great parties.
