Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a skilled React Developer in Charlotte, NC for a 12-month contract. You will update the application framework, implement Accessibility standards, and collaborate with product owners and teams to deliver accessible frontend solutions.

You will build responsive UI with React, work with designers to ensure inclusive UX, and contribute to CI/CD release processes in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of front-end development experience.
• Expertise in React and related ecosystems (Redux, React Router, Hooks).
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG AA/AAA accessibility standards.
• Experience with automated and manual accessibility testing tools.
• Understanding of semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and screen readers.
• Experience on enterprise-level web apps with strict accessibility requirements.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Git/Bitbucket source control.
• Experience building API-based architectures.
• Familiar with Jira and Agile development.
• Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive React web applications.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement accessible interfaces.
• Refine stories, define requirements, and estimate effort.
• Translate designs into HTML for backend handoff.
• Implement code and unit tests to meet acceptance criteria.
• Assist team in resolving technical complexities.
• Contribute to test suites and triage issues.
• Document deployment, maintenance, and support information.
• Participate in delivery and release events (CI/CD).
