Job summary

Synechron seeks an accomplished frontend developer to design and maintain responsive web applications using React.js in Charlotte, NC. You will build reusable UI components, optimize performance, and collaborate within Agile teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in frontend development, 3+ years with React.js, and strong knowledge of component-based architectures, REST/GraphQL, and modern state management.

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable UI components following industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Implement state management solutions using Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Participate in architecture discussions and frontend solution design.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues in development and production environments.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Implement frontend security and accessibility standards.
• Continuously improve development processes and coding standards.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience building enterprise-scale web applications.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with Next.js.
• Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture.
• Experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for frontend applications.
• Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA).
• Understanding of Web Accessibility (WCAG) standards.
