Qualifications

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

Warehouse Associate / Reach Truck Operator

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Position Overview

United Talent Staffing is seeking dependable and experienced Warehouse Associates / Reach Truck Operators for a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidates will have previous warehouse experience, including operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, with reach truck experience strongly preferred.

This position involves shipping and receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and operating warehouse equipment while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks to move and organize materials.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, prepare, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track material movements.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, or defects.
• Report damaged or defective products to management.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow established safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Complete required training and maintain equipment certifications.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1–2 years of forklift operating experience, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Reach truck experience strongly preferred.
• Previous shipping, receiving, or inventory management experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse inventory procedures and order fulfillment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must successfully complete a background check.
• Must meet employment eligibility verification requirements.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a warehouse or plant environment with varying temperatures.
• Must have 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision.
• Steel-toed boots required.
