Job description

Position: Reach Truck Operator

Pay: $17.85/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Position Description:

• Operate a reach truck to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
• Pick and place items accurately in high-racking systems, ensuring proper inventory storage and organization.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following safety regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations, communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing PPE and proper handling techniques.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control, reporting discrepancies.
• Operate additional warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Handle goods during loading and unloading to prevent damage.
• Prepare goods for shipment or delivery, including staging orders.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience operating reach trucks or similar equipment is required.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining safety and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.

Company Hiring Requirements:

• Clean background preferred (no felonies; case-by-case basis for violent crimes).
• 5-panel drug test required.
