Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Reach Truck Operator/Picker in Fairfield, OH. This 2nd shift role runs Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM with a 10-hour shift and breaks, offering a path to full-time employment.

The candidate will operate a Reach Truck, pick and move materials, and prepare items for production and shipping in a fast-paced warehouse. Requires Reach Truck experience and a HS diploma, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and pass a drug/background screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach Truck to pick and move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately pick materials and prepare them for production/shipping.
• Perform fast-paced warehouse and material handling duties.
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
• Perform manual material handling throughout the shift.
• Lift materials weighing up to 70 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height without assistance.

Reach Truck Operator/Picker – Fairfield, OH

We are assisting our client in Fairfield with their need for 2nd Shift Material Handlers. This is a great opportunity for candidates with Reach Truck experience who are looking for a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule and the opportunity to transition to full-time employment.

Pay & Schedule

• $18.50/hour + $1.00/hour shift premium
• Up to an additional $0.50/hour increase upon conversion to full-time
• 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM
• 10-hour shifts with 2 paid 20-minute breaks
• Three-day weekends!
• Double time for any hours worked on Sundays

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach Truck to pick and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Accurately pick materials and prepare them for production/shipping
• Perform fast-paced warehouse and material handling duties

• Perform manual material handling throughout the shift
• Lift materials weighing up to 70 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height without assistance

Requirements

• Previous Reach Truck experience is REQUIRED
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the full 2nd-shift schedule
