Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Reach Truck/Cherry Picker Operator for a leading distribution center in Groveport, OH. You will operate reach trucks and forklifts, receive, store, count, and issue inventory, and help maintain continuous material flow across the supply chain.

Shift options include 2nd shift 2:30pm–11pm on Mon–Fri and 1st shift Sat&Sun 6am–4:30pm, with pay of $20.00–$20.50 per hour. Candidates should have 1+ year experience, basic math/computer skills, and ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of reach truck or forklift experience.
• Basic math and computer skills for transactions.
• English reading/writing to follow procedures and safety instructions.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing, counting, and issuing equipment, materials, products, and supplies.
• Picking and packaging items according to standard procedures.
• Operating scanners for inventory transactions.
• Ensuring a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain.
• Performing physical inventories as needed.
• Operating forklifts and reach trucks.
• Assisting with machine, assembly, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What’s a typical day as Reach Truck Operator? You’ll be:

• Receiving, storing, counting, and issuing equipment, materials, products, and supplies.

• Performing physical inventories as needed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 1 year of related experience as a reach truck or forklift operator.
  
• Possess basic math and computer skills to perform job-related transactions.
  
• Can read, write, and understand English to follow procedures and safety instructions.
  
• Hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred, not required).
  
• Are able to walk, talk, hear, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  
• Are comfortable with the physical requirements, including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
