Reach Truck Forklift Operator - 3AM Start (Finance)

Schedule: 3AM to 1PM (or finish), Monday - Friday

Position Purpose:

Responsible for moving products. A forklift operator at United Natural Foods must have a strong understanding of lift operation, load safety, productivity measures, and safety procedures.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Report to the shipping office at the start of each shift for assignments, vehicle inspections, and discrepancy sheets.
• Inspect assigned lifts and complete vehicle inspection sheets.
• Replenish pick slots using the view request screen; manually fill slots if no requests exist.
• Perform knockdowns for selectors when needed.
• Maintain accurate counts and log discrepancies in inventory.
• Verify correct product placement in pick locations.
• Remove shrink wrap from knockdowns.
• Clear empty pallets from pick locations and aisles; stage pallets properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and remove debris from work area.
• Operate the lift safely and efficiently.
• Park and recharge the lift at the end of the shift.
• Report safety violations or policy breaches immediately to supervisors.
• Follow HACCP and SQF policies and procedures as applicable.

Skills/Abilities:

• Follow all receiving procedures, including Bakco and RF systems.
• Read and understand all receiving paperwork, including POs, bills of lading, and packing lists.
• Understand warehouse procedures across different areas for a comprehensive process overview.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
