Job summary

NSG Group / Pilkington North America is seeking a MHE Reach Lift operator for the Phoenix area on the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 8:00pm–4:30am). Responsibilities include replenishment, staging, palletizing, stocking workstations, loading/unloading, and forklift operation.

Sit-down forklift experience is required; ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled facility. We offer a competitive hourly wage ($19.00–$20.50) and a robust benefits package including 401(k) matching,

Qualifications

• 1 year RECENT Reach Truck AND Sit-Down Forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 35-45 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and good attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Stock workstation and assembly line (glass, molding and components).
• Stock banding area and related materials.
• Monitor cones to remove finished crates and replenish crates/racks.
• Follow the build schedule and ensure workstation efficiency.
• Operate reach truck and hand crates into open pick locations.
• Replenish by moving crates with forklift.
• Unload crates from containers/trucks and put away in bulk locations.

As a MHE Reach Lift operator, associates are responsible for replenishment, staging, palletizing, stocking workstations, loading, unloading, and performing warehouse duties off the Reach Truck. Sit down forklift experience is also a requirement for this position and will also be utilized as needed.

Schedule:3rd Shift: Sunday Night - Thursday Night, 8:00pm - 4:30am

Qualifications Required:

• 1-yearRECENT Reach Truck AND Sit-Down Forklift experience
• Ability to lift 35-45 pounds on a frequent basis and on occasion up to 70 pounds
• Utilizing basic hand tools
• Excellent attendance record
• Good customer relations and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Able to work both independently and as a team member
• Completes other duties as necessary
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility
• Must have attention to detail

Qualifications Desired:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years prior Materials Handling Equipment Experience (platform order picker, forklift, reach truck, etc.).
• Working knowledge of departmental safety, quality and operational procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Stock workstation and assembly line (glass, molding and components)
• Stock banding area (banding, corners, fronts, tops, crates, separators, dunnage).
• Monitor cones to remove finished crates, replenish row glass and replenish empty crates, racks.
• Follow the build schedule as laid out by the planner.Ensure the workstation and assembly line are running efficiently.
• Split-con glass while ensuring not to use HUS on the ROCA sheet.
• Scan all crates into their locations as they are moved.
• Empty dumpsters, ROCA racks, recyclable cardboards totes.
• Put away all finished glass and components that have been used (built).
• Use RDT to complete system move of HU’s (crates) from uncrating to open pick locations.
• Hanging – operate reach truck, hand crates into open pick locations.
• Replenishment – Operate forklift, move crates from bulk location to uncrating to be hung.
• Receiving – operate forklift, unload crates from containers/trucks, put crates away in bulk locations.

Hourly Pay:$19.00 - $20.50, based on experience
