Job summary

Global Medical Response's REACH helicopter program seeks a HAA Pilot in California for full-time service. You will join a team delivering emergency medical air transport, ensuring aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance.

Salary ranges from $124,263 to $136,689 with a 40% geographic modifier. The role offers a $15k sign-on, $40k retention plan after 3 years, a $5k SPIFR stipend, a $5k Lead Pilot stipend, on-duty housing, and a 7/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Maintain aircraft readiness and comply with FAR/REACH requirements and cleanliness duties.
• Maintain REACH regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, crews, facilities, and partners.
• Record shift changes and update REACH change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $124,263-$136,689 including 40% Geographic Modifier

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand REACH requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateREACH and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successivepilotandteamfollowingprotocol forrecordingA REACH change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000Helicopter PICHours
• 1000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time
• 200 helicopter hours night hours aided or unaided
• 230 poundweight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• EC135/H135 Aircraft Experience
