Job summary

Total Staffing Solutions in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Reach Forklift Operator for 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) in a food manufacturing environment. You will operate forklifts, supply materials to Blender Operators, and ensure FIFO inventory and lot traceability while upholding GMP and safety standards.

The role requires prior forklift experience and attention to safety; familiarity with GMP and food safety procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Knowledge of FIFO inventory practices preferred.
• Ability to follow GMP and food safety procedures.
• Basic math, counting, and inventory tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment to move and transport raw materials throughout the facility.
• Supply raw materials to Blender Operators to support production schedules.
• Verify that all raw materials are properly labeled and approved before use.
• Perform inventory checks and maintain inventory accuracy using FIFO procedures.
• Store raw materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Conduct inbound trailer and product inspections.
• Ensure order accuracy and lot traceability.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, quality, and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by management.
