Job summary

University of La Verne in La Verne, CA is seeking part-time counselors to work with high school students. Approximately six positions are available; you will guide students, assist with classwork, and accompany them during the scheduled hours. Applicants must be current ULV students and be recommended by Dr.

Ghazzawi or a professor in the integrated program, with a business major or minor. Working hours are up to 28 hours per week, including Sundays through Fridays 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM and some

Responsibilities

• Counselor to high school students.
• Help students with classwork.
• Be with students during scheduled hours, including some weekends and events.
• Maintain presence for the duration of shifts per schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

Current ULV student recommended by Dr. Ghazzawi and/or a prof. from the integrated program. Business major/minor.

Preferred Qualifications

Current ENACTUS student. Previous REACH Counselor and/or REACH student and/or in the integrated program. Must be a current La Verne Student for Fall 2026. Spring 2027 graduates are not eligible.

Work Schedule

Up to 28 hours per week Sunday 6/7/2025 through Friday 6/26/2026. Mon-Sun 5:00PM through 12:00AM. Must also be available some weekends & special events. Students enrolled in summer courses can only work up to 20 hours per week.
