Job summary

Goodwill Silicon Valley is seeking a Program Trainer with responsibility for classroom curriculum, resume and interview training, and job preparation support in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on developing new training programs to boost employment opportunities for program participants and coordinating with case managers and mentors.

The position is full-time, on-site at the Main Plant location, and may involve transporting participants to interviews and reporting progress to the Program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with strong communication skills.
• Excellent driving record and ability to travel if required.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for all classroom curriculum, including resume writing, resume submission, and mock interview classes.
• Participate in the development of new training and programs to increase employment opportunities for participants.
• Perform job search training, resume and interview preparations with program participants.
• Conduct weekly Case Management meetings and coordinate with Case Managers and Peer Mentors to prepare participants for job search.
