Great Falls Pre-Release Services, Inc. is seeking a Correctional Treatment Specialist to support residents in a structured re-entry program.

You will provide orientation, guide progress through a phase-based system, and coordinate referrals to social services within a multi-campus correctional setting. The role emphasizes case management, collaboration with compliance officers, and development of parole plans while maintaining professional relationships with community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a social science field is required.
• Three years’ experience in general human services programs for adults or two years with felons preferred.
• Experience in residential Community Corrections or working with ex-offenders is a plus.
• Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with a comprehensive orientation to the program and guide progression through the phase system.
• Develop resident contracts with time requirements and monitor progress.
• Refer residents to community resources and maintain contacts for referrals and support.
• Interview residents to assess progress, mediate disputes, and develop educational/vocational plans.
• Monitor resident activities and supervision through passes and attendance, coordinating travel as needed.
• Provide individual program guidance and supervise budgeting practices for residents.
• Oversee vocational and educational placements and monitor performance with schools and employers.
• Assist in parole planning and housing arrangements prior to leaving the center.
• Participate in screening new referrals and, when needed, serve on judicial panels to address misconduct.
• Perform on-call duties and assist with center operations during absences and after-hours.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in social work, sociology, psychology or other social science or related field
