Job summary

The State of Missouri seeks a dedicated professional to join a Department focused on teamwork, collaboration, accountability, and work‑life balance. This role supports the workforce development mission for Southeast Correctional Center and Kennett Job Center, guiding justice‑involved individuals toward sustainable employment and reintegration.

Responsibilities include delivering case management, coordinating with multiple agencies, promoting services, and assisting job seekers and employers

Responsibilities

  • Engage with justice-involved individuals to inform them of employment opportunities prior to release.
  • Promote Job Center services to justice-involved individuals and the general public.
  • Conduct assessments and provide assistance in developing employment plans.
  • Coordinate services with OWD, DOC, Job Center staff, and partner agencies to support reintegration and employment outcomes.
  • Deliver and document case management and employment services across multiple workforce programs.
  • Perform outreach to job seekers, employers, and community partners to expand access to services and opportunities.
  • Assist employers by accepting job orders, identifying labor needs, prescreening applicants, and referrals.
  • Support job seekers through automated job searches, workshops, and vocational planning.
  • Provide guidance on job retention, resume development, and interview preparation.
  • Inform employers and community organizations of available Job Center services and represent the agency at job fairs and partner events.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of customer service in all interactions.
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

This position will be responsible for the following facilities:
