Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking an echocardiography technologist to perform a full range of echocardiograms under supervision in non-invasive cardiology. You will operate state-of-the-art equipment, ensure patient safety, and document findings for physician review.

The role requires RDCS/RCS credentials, an accredited echo program or equivalent training, and active BLS; ACLS preferred. Experience with Philips ie33/EPIQ and Epic is helpful.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or accredited echo training program preferred.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare echocardiographic studies and ensure patient safety.
• Operate echo equipment and document results for physicians.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to universal precautions.
• Assist in data collection for department quality assurance.
