Job summary

Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to perform comprehensive cardiac imaging, including Doppler and GLS, and to support physicians during procedures. The role requires ARDMS or CCI credentials, BLS, and preferred two years of experience.

You will work 30 hours weekly with rotating days/evenings, 6a-6p style shifts, and participate in billing and quality standards within the Diagnostic Cardiology department.

Qualifications

• Current credentials from ARDMS or CCI.
• Must meet RDCS or RCS registration.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred; new grads considered.
• Physically and mentally fit for job demands.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, indications and prior imaging.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and Doppler data including GLS.
• Identify abnormal findings and cardiac pathology.
• Administer ultrasound enhancing agent as needed.
• Assist cardiologists during TEE.
