Job summary

American Tire Distributors in Lincolnton, NC is seeking a Warehouse Person for our Regional Distribution Center. The primary duties include prioritizing and picking material to fulfill orders, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining inventory while keeping the facility organized.

The shift is 6am–6:30pm on Wed–Fri; candidates must be able to lift up to 150 pounds, operate powered equipment safely, and perform routine housekeeping and paperwork support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree; 0–1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrange RDC stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing space for overflow.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including handling and preparing paperwork as needed.
• Load and unload trailers/containers; move and lift products up to 150 pounds; stage and inventory using powered equipment.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks at the loading dock and surrounding areas; keep floors clear of debris.
• Prioritize and pick materials to fill orders; stage products for outbound loading; handle units with care.
• Report overages/shortages; submit reports of damaged/defective products; participate in inventory counts.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) following safety standards.
• Verify incoming/outgoing products for quantity, size, and type; inform management of shortages.
