Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Co in Indiana is seeking a Regional Distribution Center Manager to lead the RDC operations, private fleet and 3rd party transport, and ensure safety, productivity and cost controls. You will direct staff, budgets and KPIs and partner with sales to align capabilities with customer needs.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on process improvement, and knowledge of RF/WMS and transportation regulations to optimize performance and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of direct management experience overseeing 40+ employees.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in Electrical, Construction, or Manufacturing environments desirable.
• Knowledge of RF/WMS and warehouse operations required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and 3rd party transportation beneficial.
• Experience with budgeting and direct budget accountability, RF/Voice tech and Epicor Eclipse WMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct staff to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective operation of the facility and its assets.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and customer focus.
• Oversee distribution service activities to meet customer requirements.
• Oversee job assignments and labor schedules.
• Develop and manage yearly budgets and KPI plans based on forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement and recommend programs to improve operations.
• Monitor layout and maintain continuous improvement environment.
• Communicate with sales teams and customers to understand needs and convey capabilities.
