Job summary

Lennox is seeking a Distribution Associate in Edgerton, KS to handle shipment and receipt of materials, pack items, and route them to inspection or stock areas. This hourly, non-exempt role offers overtime eligibility and a starting pay range of $17.31–$22.71 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits.

You’ll work in a team environment with standard weekday hours. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
• Forklift certification (preferred). Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

What Drives Success

This distribution associate performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Receive goods, verify items against the shipment record, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the chosen transportation method.
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.

What We Are Looking For

Compensation

This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17.31-$22.71hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 10 days paid time off, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
