Sherwin Owiesy DMD PLLC in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support the dentist across general dentistry procedures, prepare rooms, take X-rays, manage instruments, and help ensure a comfortable patient experience.

You will work closely with the front office to maintain patient flow and accurate records, while upholding infection control standards and a patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Arizona Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in good standing.
• Must have current radiography and CPR/BLS certifications required for assigned duties.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Positive attitude, reliability and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment.
• Commitment to patient comfort, clinical excellence and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Responsabilités

• Assist the dentist during general dentistry procedures including restorative work, crowns, bridges, cosmetic procedures and oral surgery as needed.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments and maintain infection control and OSHA standards.
• Take digital dental X-rays and intraoral scans as needed.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials and equipment.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed and cared for during visits.
• Review treatment plans and help patients understand next steps in coordination with the dentist.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Support an organized, efficient clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the front office to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow.
