Job summary

West Coast Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for full-time, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for leadership growth across 45+ Southern California locations. You’ll prepare rooms, assist dentists in general and specialty procedures, and manage X-rays while ensuring top-quality patient care in a dynamic, multi-office environment.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Current X-ray certification (CA).
• Coronal polish and sealant certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and OSHA compliance.
• Specialty experience (Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatrics) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards.
• Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures (incl. ortho, oral surgery).
• Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Be part of a positive patient experience from start to finish.
• Learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties.
• Mentor others to grow clinical expertise.
