Job summary

West Coast Dental Services seeks a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists across general and specialty procedures in a fast-paced, multi-office environment. You will maintain sterile rooms, take X-rays, and help ensure outstanding patient care throughout our Southern California network.

Qualifications

• Active California RDA license and current X-ray certification.
• Coronal polish and sealant certification; CPR/BLS current.
• Experience in orthodontics, periodontics, or oral surgery is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards.
• Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures (orthodontics, oral surgery, etc.).
• Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols compliance.
• Manage operatory flow in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver patient care.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience from start to finish.
• Learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties.
• Participate in mentoring programs to grow clinical expertise.
