Qualifications

Valid California RDA license or Dental Assisting certificate (RDA preferred).
Current California Radiation Safety (X-ray) certification and active BLS/CPR certification.
Previous clinical dental assisting experience preferred; knowledge of general dentistry, restorative, and surgical assisting a plus.

Responsibilities

Chairside assisting during exams, restorations, cosmetics, periodontal therapy, and surgeries.
Greet patients, review health histories, prepare treatment rooms, and assist with comfort.
Take high-quality dental X-rays as ordered by the doctor.
Maintain infection control, sterilize instruments, and organize equipment.
Update patient records, document treatment notes, and assist with lab case tracking.
